The TRUTH Awards has proven again to be one of Chicago most respected and supported events, even thought the red carpet event has not even taken place. I've received emails, phone calls and texts wanting to know the details of the show and results of the voting. Well, the voting site was overwhelmed as over 100,000 - exactly 106,489 people logged on and supported their favorite celebrated personality of '07/08.

The TRUTH Awards Gala '08 will be announced in a few weeks, as well as the performance line up and co host for the evening extravaganza. This gala fundraiser will allow the winners, their families, friends and associates to come out, celebrate and be saluted for their success at this year's hip hop/R&B awards.
